Harry Melling, who played Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter franchise, lost weight before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, so he was almost recast. However, rather than simply being allowed to be himself, he had to wear a “fat suit” in order to reprise his role.
