Council takes Home Office to court to stop rural RAF base used to house asylum seekers

West Lindsey District Council asked a judge in London to impose an interim injunction preventing the Home Office from moving “materials, equipment or people” on to land at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire. The airbase once played host to the famous World War 2 Dambusters 617 Squadron.
