Current vaccination strategy for monkeypox ‘may not be effective for preventing infection’

MONKEYPOX is one of several viral threats to hit the UK in 2022. Originating on the African continent, the virus has returned to the country for the first time since 2018. However, unlike four years ago, the virus has taken a greater hold and there are concerns current strategies may already be proving ineffective.
