ENERGY prices for the average household could hit £6,000 from next April, warn analysts as pressure mounts for emergency action to help families through the cost of living crisis. The energy price cap is on course to jump from £1,971 to £3,576 in October, £4,799 in January and £6,089 in April, according to the Auxilione consultancy.
