New NHS blood test could detect more than 50 types of cancers before symptoms emerge

A WORLD-FIRST trial is underway as a new blood test could potentially detect cancerous tumours before symptoms develop. If proved successful, the diagnostic tool could prevent one in 10 cancer deaths in the UK.
