113-year-old wooden church in Sweden safely moved to its new home

A 113-year-old wooden church in Sweden was safely moved to its new home – just five kilometers away.

The Kiruna Church was lifted onto a specially built trailer and blessed before starting its two day journey across town. The move was part of a 30-year plan to relocate the whole town, which is at risk of being swallowed up by the world’s biggest underground iron ore mine.
