30,000 flee Los Angeles wildfires

Wildfires whipped up by extreme winds are sweeping through the suburbs of LA, with tens of thousands being asked to evacuate.

Homes have burnt down as gusts reached up to 80 mph in the Pacific Palisades.

A state of emergency has been declared by the governor of California and winds are expected to continue until Thursday this week.
