It captures the brief time when the couple had just moved to New York to live among the people of Greenwich village, in the aftermath of the breakup of the Beatles. It’s made from the TV shows they were watching and the couple’s own recordings, some of which contain strong language.
We spoke to him about his next project, out on IMAX this week, which documents just a few years in the life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
