Despite Israel lifting its aid blockade on Gaza, the UN says tonight that Palestinians are yet to receive the desperately needed supplies.
Some trucks have now entered the territory – but the provisions remain stuck at a border crossing.
That news will do little to improve Israel’s international standing – nor will today’s events in the West Bank.
A number of diplomats – including British representatives – were forced to flee for cover when they came under fire in the city of Jenin.
