A look inside China’s first airport pet terminal

An airport in China has just unveiled an exclusive new terminal for very special passengers – or more specifically – their pets.

The multi-million pound building boasts everything the discerning pet might need ahead of air travel – including dedicated check-in counters and separate areas for cats and dogs.
It’s hoped the terminal will reduce the pet processing period for air travel from seven days to two.
