Child safety organisations have welcomed the government "thinking again" on including child abuse victims in their violence against women and girls strategy.

Safeguarding minister Jess Phillips has written to charities to tell them ‘children who experience child sexual abuse and exploitation are considered in the new VAWG strategy’.
