Actress Hayden Panettiere has died at age 36.

Her father, Skip, described her as an "incredible light" who brought joy to the millions who watched her onscreen. She rose to fame as the cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes and country singer Juliette Barnes in Nashville. No cause of death has been announced.
