Miriam Margoyles has hit out at the treatment of Harry Potter author JK Rowling over her gender-critical views.
The actress, who played Prof Sprout in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret, said it was wrong for Rowling not to be invited to the franchise’s 20th anniversary celebrations in 2022.
Rowling has been outspoken in her views on trans rights and the role of biology in gender.
