25 years after 9/11 and the United States’ war on terror in Afghanistan, ITV News International Editor Emma Murphy returns to Kabul to see the consequences of war, occupation and a return to Taliban rule. As the anniversary approaches, the Taliban are marking 5 years back in power. The former fighters are now in the offices of state. While the security situation in the country has improved, there are multiple ongoing crises such as the economy, malnutrition, and women’s rights.
