The head of MI5 has warned AI is "supercharging" threats to the UK, and cybersecurity defence must keep up with the challenge.
Sir Ken McCallum told journalists during his annual speech that artificial intelligence could provide terrorists with access to bioweapons if guardrails on the technology failed.
He called on the British public to be prepared to play a part in protecting national security, and warned of enemies trying to sow division on UK soil.
