Air India flight 171 was one of thousands making the popular journey between the UK and Western India each year.
On board, preparing for their nine-and-a-half hour flight, were 230 passengers and 12 crew members.
They should have touched down at London’s Gatwick Airport just before 6.30pm on Thursday 12th June.
But they never arrived.
229 passengers and 12 crew members lost their lives in the crash, including 52 Britons.
Remarkably, there was one survivor.
For a week after the plane crash in Ahmedabad, ITV News correspondents in the UK and India have seen first hand the shock and devastation the accident has wrought.
