A technical issue which has caused significant delays to aircraft leaving UK airspace has been resolved, according to the National Air Traffic Services (Nats).
Flights at airports across the UK – including Heathrow, Gatwick and Edinburgh airports – were grounded on Wednesday while the technical issue was being investigated.
Nats limited the number of aircraft which could fly in the "London control area", which also covers most of England and Wales.
