Alba leadership campaign hit by bullying claims as Regan says she'd work with Reform UK

One of the contenders hoping to succeed Alex Salmond as leader of the pro-independence Alba Party has told Sky News it could work with Nigel Farage in Scotland.

Ash Regan, who previously failed to become SNP leader before defecting to Alba, is hoping to take over as the party chief after Mr Salmond’s death last year.

The other candidate in the race, Kenny McAskill, is facing bullying allegations – claims he denies.

The contest has been dominated by infighting and increasingly bitter divisions.
