'Almost all the victims will end up with some permanent disability', says surgeon in Beirut

Surgeon Dr Ghassan Abu-Sittah tells Sky’s Alex Crawford about the "catastrophic" injuries he has been treating at a hospital in Beirut after pagers and walkie-talkies exploded across Lebanon.

The "catastrophic thing", he said, is "almost all of the victims will end up with some permanent disability".

The number of people killed in the device explosions on Wednesday has now risen to 25, Lebanon’s health minister says.
