American Airlines resumes boarding flights after FAA lifts nationwide groundstop

American Airlines said a “vendor technology issue” caused the delay of all of its flights in the United States on Tuesday morning. The company began boarding flights again at around 8 am ET Tuesday, and flights have since resumed, airline spokeswoman Sarah Jantz told CNN.
