An explosion prompted the emergency evacuation of some passengers at the Dubai International Airport on Saturday 7 March.

Passengers waiting for flights were ushered down into train tunnels following what appeared to be a drone attack nearby.

Long-haul carrier Emirates said it would resume operations after temporarily halting them.
