Iran is likely to hit back at Israel if it thinks an Israeli response to its ballistic missile attack poses an existential risk to the regime, an Iranian analyst has told Sky News.
Hamidreza Gholamzadeh said Western countries were at risk of being dragged into a "quagmire" if they continued to support Israel’s military activities in the Middle East.
Iranians were "happy" with the regime’s decision to attack Israel with nearly 200 ballistic missiles on Tuesday, he said.
