Our reporter Lora Jones asks Raoul Ruparel, Director of the Boston Consulting Group’s Centre for Growth and former senior advisor to UK PM Theresa May, what exactly Trump announced and why he seems to love tariffs so much.
Also discussed is are the countries worst hit by the tariff announcements and whether retaliatory charges are on the table.
Plus, with the EU facing tariffs of 20% – 10% higher than the UK, does this amount to a win for brexiteers?
