The influence of President Trump is being linked with the release in Romania of the self-styled misogynist Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan. They flew straight off to Florida. A travel ban on the two men was lifted, apparently after pressure from the White House. Andrew Tate had promoted Trump for the presidency. The Tates are charged in Romania with the human trafficking of women for sexual exploitation. Both brothers deny any criminal wrongdoing.
