The Royal Family are “skating on increasingly thin ice” with the general public and the scandal involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Jeffrey Epstein is a "sword of Damocles" hanging over them, Palace historian Dr Tessa Dunlop says.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has not commented on recent revelations from the Epstein files, but he has previously denied wrongdoing in relation to his relationship with the sex offender and in relation to the claims of Virginia Giuffre.
