Andy Burnham speaks out on his desire for closer ties with EU

Andy Burnham has spoken out about his desire for the UK to have closer ties with the European Union on freedom of movement.

The Prime Minister said: "Things have changed since Brexit. We’ve lost control over immigration. The economy and immigration control is weaker in the 10 years since Brexit. I want to use the EU-UK summit for a practical deal for farmers, food manufacturers, but also on collaboration on immigration. I will never move ahead of the British public when it comes to Brexit."
