Anti-tourism protests across Europe

Anti-tourism protesters across Southern Europe have taken to the streets to raise awareness to the challenges emerging from over tourism.

The Southern Europe against Touristification coalition group called for activists and campaigners to take to the streets in various holiday locations. In Barcelona, the centre of the marches, protesters fired water pistols at tourists and dispersed smoke.
