Archaeologist says 4,700-year-old shipwreck off Turkish coast is oldest discovered to date

Archeologists believe this to be the world’s oldest shipwreck ever discovered. Found off the southern coast of Turkey near Kekova Island, the wreck is believed to date back 4,400 to 4,700 years. Amphoras found near the wreck are similar to amphoras coming from the Levant in the bronze age
