Are Kurds being armed to fight Iran?

As the US and Israel plan the next phase of the conflict against Iran, it’s being reported they’re looking to arm and support Iranian Kurdish groups along the Iran-Iraq border, in the hope they will take part in a ground operation and force regime change, though the White House has denied this.
