The shooting happened in Orebro, about 200 kilometres (125 miles) west of Stockholm, the country’s capital. Officers were first called at around 12.30pm local time (11.30am GMT), Roberto Eid Forest, the head of the police district, told reporters at a news conference. The gunman is believed to be among the dead and police say there are no suspected connections to terrorism at this point.
