Hamas has released two more hostages. Both were elderly women and kibbutz residents. The Red Cross says it was involved in transporting the women out of Gaza. Their husbands have not been released.
This comes as Israel has stepped up air strikes across Gaza, saying it has hit Hamas militant targets. The Hamas-led Gaza health ministry says over 5,000 people have now been killed in the bombardment.
Israel has warned the fighting could last for months.
