Assisted Dying Bill: MPs complain about lack of time to debate

MPs have complained about not being given enough time to debate the Assisted Dying Bill.

Only two amendments were voted on today on the bill which would allow terminally ill adults in England and Wales, who are expected to die within six months, to seek help to end their own life.

There will be another vote on Labour MP Kim Leadbeater’s bill next month.
