The landmark Commons debate on assisted dying is under way and the Labour MP who tabled the Bill, Kim Leadbeater, says "the law is failing people" and that MPs "have a duty to fix it".
Ms Leadbeater recounts multiple stories of "the heartbreaking reality and human suffering which too many people are experiencing as a result of the status quo".
