Asylum seekers to be housed in military bases

The government has said it is planning to use more military bases to house asylum seekers.

The Home Office confirmed two barracks in Scotland and southern England would be used to accommodate about 900 men temporarily.

The plans will see men housed at Cameron Barracks in Inverness and Crowborough Training Camp in East Sussex.
