
The UK Health Security Agency has said 36 children who drank possibly contaminated baby formula milk showed symptoms of toxin poisoning.
Nestle recalled batches of its SMA formula last month over concerns they could have been contaminated with the heat resistant toxin cereulide. It can cause diarrhoea and vomiting.
Danone also recalled some of its formula Aptamil.
It emerged last week that the contamination that led to both recalls originated from a shared, third-party, ingredient supplier.
