Housing minister Miatta Fahnbulleh was speaking to Sky’s Kamali Melbourne.
She said "It is absolutely appalling that we are seeing attacks on places of worship", following recent attacks on a mosque and synagogue.
"We will do our part as Government but this is a wider question for our country and our society, we need everyone to stand up and say: not in our name, not in this country."
