Authorities say bodycam may have saved officer’s life

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said that a body-worn camera may have saved an officer’s life after a bullet likely ricocheted off the camera, preventing it from hitting the deputy’s chest during a shooting incident while responding to a battery call.
