The government has just released a 32-page dossier outlining its reforms of the asylum system in full.
The Tory leader told journalists that she does welcome the reforms and called them a "small step in the right direction".
Kemi Badenoch has said the Conservatives will offer supportive opposition to the government’s asylum reforms.
She added: "We’re going to work with them to try and get this through, because what I know is that a lot of Labour backbenchers hate this stuff".
