Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch says she would ban social media for under 16s if her party were in power.

The plan would see social media companies including TikTok and Snapchat asked to use age verification tools to prevent under 16s from accessing their platforms.
Ms Badenoch said it would protect children’s mental health and education.
