Barclays cuts mortgage rates

Barclays has become the biggest lender to cut some mortgage rates for UK homeowners in the wake of Donald Trump’s tariff turmoil.

The rate is now below 4 per cent, but it only applies to buyers who have already paid a substantial deposit.
