Bereaved parents warn more action is needed to help children with mental health issues

Nimroy Hendricks was killed by a 14-year-old girl who had already stabbed her own mother.

The teenager, known as Child A, had been known to social services since she was a young child and had a history of violence and carrying knives.

Mr Hendricks’ parents spoke to Becky Johnson about the pain of losing their son, and what needs to change to spare other parents the heartbreak of losing a child to violence.
