Beverley Knight on new music and the 75th anniversary of Windrush | ITV News

When she hit the stage tonight at the Royal Albert Hall for a concert marking the 75th anniversary of Windrush, Beverley Knight said she’d be thinking of her parents. They came to England as part of the Windrush generation.

A generation which the singer and actor told us had been treated "appallingly" by the government. She spoke too of their "resilience".
