Biden: Russia seeks to ‘brutalise’ Ukraine with no consequences

US president Joe Biden said Russia was seeking to ‘brutalise’ Ukraine, ‘without consequence’ during a speech at the UN general assembly on Tuesday. Biden held Russia solely accountable for the conflict saying: ‘Russia alone stands in the way of peace because Russia’s price for peace is Ukraine’s capitulation, Ukraine’s territory.’
