Iran’s largest oil refinery was hit by Israeli airstrikes in Tehran, in the early hours of the morning. In Beirut, the Ramada hotel went up in flames after Israel said it was targeting Iranian commanders operating in the Lebanese capital.
A government building in Kuwait was hit by a drone attack in response, after Iran fired retaliatory strikes on neighbouring countries.
