A Black Lives Matter protest erupted in Columbus, Ohio last night following the police shooting of Ta’kiya Young, a pregnant mother, during a shoplifting incident. Protesters allege racial bias in the shooting. Young was fatally shot by an officer after refusing to exit her vehicle and attempting to run over a police officer in response to allegations of shoplifting.
