‘Blood moon’ lunar eclipse to be visible tonight

The UK will see the moon turn partly red overnight in what is known as a ‘blood moon’.

A partial lunar eclipse will be visible just before dawn on Friday morning, as the moon moves into Earth’s shadow and turns red.
