Video from the site of where an Air India plane crashed shows charred and destroyed residential buildings and homes.
The plane, carrying 242 people, was bound for Gatwick when it came down shortly after take off in the Indian city of Ahmedabad.
Of the 242 passengers on the flight, 53 were British,169 were Indian, seven were Portuguese and one was Canadian.
The cause of the flight is unknown.
