Organisers have cancelled Edinburgh’s world-famous Hogmanay event due to bad weather.
High winds, rain and snow are forecast to hit Scotland on New Year’s Eve.
Indoor events will go ahead as planned.
Blackpool’s New Year’s Eve fireworks have also been cancelled due to the forecast of high winds.
