Brexit: UK rejoins EU’s Horizon science programme

The UK is rejoining the European Union’s flagship Horizon science research programme – after months of negotiations.

Until now, British scientists haven’t been able to apply for grants from the £85 billion fund – frozen out by the row over Northern Ireland’s post Brexit trading rules. Cause for celebration among researchers.
