British couple, who had been sailing in the English Channel when a Russian warship fired warning shots nearby, have told ITV News that they did "nothing wrong".
Jane Kelvey, 68, and her husband Alan, 70, were on their 40ft yacht, Bright Future, travelling from the south coast of England towards France when shots were fired several times.
The Ministry of Defence said the shots, which were heard around 11.40am on Tuesday, were to "prevent a possible collision".
But Mrs Kelvey insists that the boats were not on course for a collision, and that the couple "followed all the rules".
